This week sees a milestone achievement for Lady Gowrie Tasmania as we celebrate 85 years of the continuous provision of quality education and care programs to Tasmanian children, families, educators and communities.

It was fantastic to see comments from Lady Gowrie Tasmania’s CEO, Mat Rowell, and photos of Clara and Willow in The Mercury Newspaper article today about rising birth rates in Tasmania.

Since 1939, we have provided education and care to countless Tasmanian children and with these birth rate statistics, the future is looking very bright indeed!

‘Welcome to Early Learning Matters Week 2023!

Organised by Early Childhood Australia, Early Learning Matters Week brings together early childhood educators, parents, carers and community leaders around Australia to raise awareness and understanding of the importance of early learning and the difference the profession makes.

On behalf of the Lady Gowrie Tasmania Board, myself and the Senior Leadership Team, I would like to take this opportunity to recognise, celebrate and say thank you to all our early and middle childhood professionals, administrative staff and support staff who work in our education and care services.
