Early Childhood Educators' Day 2025
What an incredible week it has been celebrating the care, dedication and professionalism of Lady Gowrie Tasmania’s educators in their vital work with children!
Educators care for and provide safe and engaging play-based learning environments for children so that families can work, train, study and volunteer. This vital work of educators not only lays solid foundations for children’s lifelong development, learning and wellbeing, but also benefits families, communities and our economy.
At Lady Gowrie Tasmania, we broaden the focus of this special day for our educators to include everyone in our team who support our educators in their vital work with children – our ancillary, administration, corporate, project, training, inclusion and management teams.
A heartfelt thank you to our children, families and leaders for making educators and everyone in our team feel valued and appreciated for Educators’ Day. The messages of thanks and support from children and families have been quite simply overwhelming.

You can only imagine our pure delight when being accepted into this supportive and positive environment that you have created. It’s clear how much love you bring to your work and the children, and being part of this community feels like such a gift. Your dedication to making the kids feel safe, encouraged, and celebrated is second to none, and the thoughtful weekly reports are so valued. I am in awe of the energy, kindness, and consistency you bring to every single day. Thank you for the impact you have on our daughter, and all the little ones in your care. You are appreciated!”

“I had never used a daycare centre before, and I have been so impressed with the level of care our son receives. Every staff member is so warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. He absolutely loves coming to daycare, spending time with his educators. As a parent, it’s never easy entrusting your child to someone else’s care, but we have complete confidence in the educators. Being an educator must be one of the most demanding jobs, yet you all make it seem effortless. The environment you’ve created is so welcoming and nurturing, and that comes from the whole team, not just one person.”
